On November 12, 2020, Yu Gongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Anshan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, invited Chairman Xu Lie of our company to a working dinner at the Shengli Hotel. He was accompanied by Ke Changsong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Anshan Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor; Gao Dazhuang, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Li Tao, Party Group Secretary and Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission; and Chang Liang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau. Representatives from Huatai included: General Manager Han Dong; Mao Yang, Vice President of the Design and Research Institute; Li Fang, Vice President of the Design and Research Institute; Liu Jiangnan, Manager of the Branch Company; and Zhang Yasong, Deputy Director of the Administration Department.                       

During the dinner, Chairman Xu Lie gave a detailed presentation on Huatai’s development history, scientific research and development, key projects, and long-term development direction. Mayor Yu Gongbin pointed out that private enterprises were the backbone of economic development. He emphasized the need for Huatai to continuously enhance its overall strength, intensify research and development efforts, improve independent innovation capabilities, and ultimately build Anshan’s coking design brand. Chairman Xu Lie stated that going forward, the company would remain true to its original aspirations, establish independent innovation as its core, advance its capacity building, and further enhance its brand competitiveness, contributing to the high-quality economic development in the Anshan region.
