On November 25, 2020, a ceremony marking the coke charging of the Phase II Coke Dry Quenching Project of No.1 – No.4 Coke Ovens at Shanxi Coking Coal Co., Ltd., for which Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd serves as the general contractor, was grandly held at the dry quenching site. This project has laid a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between our company and Shanxi Coking.

Yang Shihong, Chairman of Shanxi Coking; Zhang Guofu, Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Coking; and Xu Lie, Chairman of Huatai, attended the ceremony.

Construction of the foundation for the CDQ proper began in mid-November 2019. Despite various construction challenges such as constrained construction site, extensive demolition and reconstruction work and unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, Huatai overcame one obstacle after another through rigorous design, meticulous organization, and the rational allocation of resources, working overtime day and night, with the strong support and close cooperation of the client’s leadership, as well as the joint efforts of all equipment suppliers and construction contractors involved in the project. As a result, we successfully achieved on-schedule red coke charging for the CDQ unit.
