On the morning of February 8, 2021, Zhang Anyang, Party Secretary and Director of the Anshan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, along with Deputy Director Chang Liang and other leaders, visited Anshan Huatai Huanneng Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. for research and guidance. Huatai Chairman Xu Lie and General Manager Han Dong welcomed and received the delegation.

During the exchange, Chairman Xu Lie introduced the development of Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary, Anshan Huatai Huanneng Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., as well as their achievements in scientific and technological innovation. Wang Xiuhua, Director of the Quality, Science and Technology Department, reported on the company’s work and accomplishments in scientific and technological innovation. Huang Yuanhang, project manager for the coke dry quenching section of the Smart Coking Plant, provided a detailed report on the technical aspect of the project.

Director Zhang and other officials commended Huatai’s technological innovations. They engaged in in-depth discussions with Huatai leadership regarding remote operation and maintenance technologies for the coke dry quenching section of the smart coking plant, and offered recommendations for the company’s industrial development and alignment with the broader trend of industrial restructuring in Liaoning Province and Anshan City. Deputy Director Chang Liang provided a detailed overview of relevant industrial policies in Liaoning Province and Anshan City, including national technical support and financial incentives for industrial enterprises, aiming to strengthen interaction between the government and enterprises and clarify the direction of support and guidance for businesses.

Director Zhang suggested Huatai to establish a comprehensive secondary-level node for the Industrial Internet identification and resolution system to support the management of suppliers within the company’s industrial chain and facilitate its transition to industrialization. He also provided valuable recommendations on a phased implementation strategy to leverage Huatai’s strengths in achieving the automation and intelligent upgrading of the coking industry as one of the traditional industries.
