At 11:18 a.m. on August 18, 2022, No. 1 Coke Oven of the 1.2 million tpa coke oven project designed by Huatai Yongchuang for Jinzhou Feng’an Industrial Co., Ltd. was successfully commissioned. A grand commissioning ceremony was held on-site. Distinguished guests in attendance included Guo Kuo, Secretary of the Yixian County Party Committee; Zheng Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Yixian County Party Committee and Acting County Magistrate; Yan Zhiyou, General Manager of Tangshan Lanhai Industry Co., Ltd.; Wang Quan, Chairman and President of Hebei Xinda Group; and Wang Shuli, Chairman of Hebei Yanshan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. Huatai Chairman Xu Lie and General Manager Han Dong were also invited to attend the ceremony.

The project is located in Jiudaoling Town, Yixian County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. It utilizes a 6.3-meter top-stamp-charging coke oven developed independently by Huatai Yongchuang, integrating waste gas circulation and multi-stage heating technologies. This oven type features low production costs, high environmental standards and automation levels, superior product quality, and proven reliability, combining the dual advantages of both top-charging and stamp-charging coke ovens, ranking among the top in terms of its economic, social and environmental benefits both domestically and internationally.

The project site and process design underwent several revisions, yet the design team remained patient and cooperative throughout, projecting dedication and professional expertise and gaining high recognition from the client. With great importance attached to this project by Huatai, General Manager Han Dong, Deputy Chief Engineer Zhang Xiaoguang, Deputy Director of the Design and Research Institute Mao Yang and Li Fang, as well as senior experts Yao Peng, Wang Fengyun, Liu Jixin, Yao Lianxiang, and Chen Bencheng, were all deeply involved throughout discussions regarding major design proposals. In particular, Deputy Chief Engineer Zhang Xiaoguang personally reviewed the designs of critical components of the coking process, ensuring the highest standards were met. Hard work pays off, and the smooth commissioning of the project is the highest recognition for the design team.

To ensure the project’s smooth commissioning, the company dispatched an eight-member construction service team to provide first-class service to the client.
