Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Plant announced the successful completion of the Phase I performance test for its 2.2 million-ton heat recovery coking project.

The project encompasses the supply, erection, and technical services for refractory materials and equipment. Production commenced successfully at the start of this year. Between July 5 and July 14, performance testing was conducted on Batteries 1-8, with multiple parties participating in the assessment. The test marks the transition from construction and trial production to full operational status.

HT has collaborated closely with Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Plant in recent years, advancing several projects into practice. The teams have taken further steps to establish an exemplary project aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative.

The smooth examination and acceptance process was achieved through strong HT management oversight and the contributions of the site management team. The successful production and performance test underscore HT’s capabilities in design, project management, and technical services.

In a broader context of globalization, HT will continue to develop overseas markets and earn the trust of international partners through its engineering prowess and service excellence. The EPC project represents a significant milestone in HT’s globalization strategy.
